Alan Attarian

Alan Attarian was born on 7/29/48 to Rose and Monroe Attarian. His father was born in Turkey and his mother was born in New York. Alan lived in Teaneck, NJ for 15 years and he graduated from Teaneck high School in 1966. He was a member of Audio Visual Aids in High School. Alan also lived in New Hampshire.

Alan enlisted in the Army on 4/18/68 and he attained the rank of Corporal in the 25th Infantry, 25th Battalion, A Company. He began his tour in Vietnam on 11/3/68. Corporal Attarian was killed in action on 9/16/69 while patrolling a night defense position in the Cuchi District of Hau Nghia Province, South Vietnam. He was scheduled to return from Vietnam on 11/1/69.

This valiant soldier was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. Corporal Attarian is buried in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.

1. Alan Attarian - Alan Attarian was born on July 29, 1948, to Monroe and Rose Attarian.  His home of record is Teaneck, NJ.  He graduated from Teaneck High School in 1966. He played guitar. Attarian entered the US Army and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL).  He served with the 25th Infantry Division. Attarian was killed in action on September 16, 1969.
